Senior Cloud Infrastructure/Security Engineer

Primary Purpose

Leads and participates in the engineering and planning efforts of Bright Horizons global IT cloud and infrastructure ecosystem. Actively involved in the engineering aspects of successful integration of application and infrastructure architectures. Collaborate with cross functional IT teams and business units to drive the creation of scalable, resilient and stable cloud infrastructure technologies and solutions in alignment with Bright Horizons strategic objectives. Coach and mentor other members of the team. Review and recommend emerging cloud infrastructure technologies and practices. Socializes and reinforces established processes, procedures and policies.

What you will be doing:

Drives the engineering efforts for the integration and implementation of cloud and infrastructure services and technologies
Provides cloud infrastructure technical expertise with application integration and migration to Bright Horizons cloud infrastructure
Plan, lead, implement, and document cloud and infrastructure technology initiatives and projects
Work closely with the architecture team in planning, deployment and maintenance of Azure resources to support Bright Horizon's technology footprint in the cloud
Socializes and reinforces established processes, procedures and policies
Continuous training and development in cloud (Azure) technologies and best practices
Leads and participates in the engineering and planning efforts of Bright Horizons global IT cloud and infrastructure ecosystem.
Provide technical leadership and mentor members of the team
What we hope you bring to the role:

Education

Vocational or technical education is required

Experience 5 years of experience is required
Minimum of 5 additional years of experience would be considered in lieu of the applicable degree
Azure resource deployment
Application migrations
AVS
ASR
Azure AD
ADO
Cloud management tools such as CloudHealth and Sentinel
Rubrik data backup and recovery
IaaS
IaC
Ansible
vCenter
Microsoft Azure Cloud engineering and administration experience
vSan
