Overview:
The Scheduler will be responsible for creating and maintaining the Master Production Schedule (MPS) for the RECARO Clinton Township After Market, Sewing, and Services lines as needed.
They will support development, tracking, and adjustment of specific production schedules and communicate to plant operations.
They will liaison the needs of sales in meeting their customer order fulfillments with the needs of supply chain in managing the material requirements necessary to meet those commitments They will enable the plant to achieve Customer delivery targets and Inventory metrics.
They will also be responsible for implementing tools and processes that improve operating efficiencies and reduce costs within plant and supporting supply chains.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and maintain Production Schedules for After Market, Sewing, and Services
Collaborate with the shipping and receiving teams to make sure inbound and outbound deliveries are received or shipped on time.
Maintain Inventory and Demand record integrity, to ensure supplier release accuracy, using tools as CUM Reconciliation and Capacity Management.
Assist in the coordination of engineering change implementation, through timing control.
Assist in the development of Freight and Inventory budgets.
Collaborate with other departments (Engineering, Sales & Manufacturing Operations) to create and maintain a capacity requirement plan that supports the master schedule.
Establish and adjust safety stock levels for finished goods inventories.
Establish and maintain a production scheduling process which results in achievable plans that optimize productivity, minimize inventory, and maximize customer service.
Maintenance and communication of key performance indicators.
Analyze data to identify causes of variance.
Participation in S&OP meetings.
Other Supply Chain related activities to support the overall department cross-training plan.
Requirements & Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or any relative field.
In the absence of a 4-year degree in an appropriate field of study, this position requires four (4) years of related experience (as Materials or Purchasing Analyst).
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) as well as Internet software and E-mail is required.
Proficiency in Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) software communications
Experience in PLEX ERP software system is desired.
Spanish or German languages are a plus.
