ostomy, colon resection, colon cancer, bladder cancer, GU, medical overflow
high turn-over surgery patient unit
The following drips are administered on our unit-
Heparin, Lidocaine ( pain only) , Bicarb, Bivaldirubin, Amiodarone ( Stable Non Titrated ) occasionally
We also have PCAs, Epidurals and CBIs with different irrigation solutions
We have centralized tele - preferred that Nurse should have some basic knowledge of tele
Special Procedures/Unit Details:, foleys, CBI continuous bladder irrigation; TURPS, protocols for colorectal patients

If you are working a straight night shift: If you are working straight night shift, there is no charge for parking, and you may park in the employee parking (you will receive parking information during orientation). The garage that you will be parking in will be Clayton/Taylor Ave location. Bring your license plate number with you on your first day.
