Be part of the Saint Therese difference! We are seeking Nurse Supervisors (RN) to join a dynamic team at one of Minnesota's leading nonprofit senior housing and service providers. Positions available: 10:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. or 11:00 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday working every other weekend. This position will also work every other holiday.Benefits

Location Information

Saint Therese offers a continuum of care and services available in a person's own home or in one of our four Twin Cities communities: New Hope, Brooklyn Park, Shoreview, and Woodbury.

Since 2016, Saint Therese of Woodbury is our youngest community. Social vibrancy, distinctive living spaces and a continuum of care blend to create a unique senior living experience. We offer 216 independent, assisted living and memory care apartments; 56 skilled and transitional care suites. The Redwoods Senior Apartments, adjacent to the main campus opened in November 2017.

Responsibilities:

Manages and supervises the activities of a shift in the care center. Acts as a resource in interpreting nursing policies and procedures and their application to residents and staff. Assigns staff to handle campus emergencies in the absence of administrative staff.

Qualifications:Experience: Three years of nursing experience is required. Previous supervisory experience is preferred, but not required. Must be able to demonstrate strong leadership skills.

Special knowledge, skills and abilities:

Demonstrated working knowledge of nursing department functions with special emphasis on compliance with Federal and State Regulations
Knowledge of the scope of the Minnesota Board of Nursing Nurse Practice Act
Demonstrated ability to participate in and collaborate with interdisciplinary team.
Demonstrated leadership abilities.
Effective time management/prioritization and critical thinking skills
Demonstrated written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
Basic knowledge of computers and related software and particular familiarity with databases
