Location Information

Saint Therese offers a continuum of care and services available in a person's own home or in one of our five Twin Cities communities:New Hope, Brooklyn Park, Shoreview, Woodbury, and our newest location Corcoran!

Saint Therese of Corcoran is set to open in August 2024. This campus is full of social vibrancy in an urban setting, distinctive living spaces and a variety of amenities to create an experience the resident is looking for to create their future home. The campus will offer 153 independent, assisted living and memory care apartments. Amenities of the site include dining options, wellness center with pool, library, lounge area, golf simulator, salon, and wood shop area.

Responsibilities

The Executive Director will be involved in every facet of the operation - business office, marketing, resident care, culinary services, activities, maintenance, and community relations. The Executive Director maintains policies and procedures that actively reinforce our mission, core values and corporate directives and directs strategic and financial planning for the community. Develops implements and monitors strategic plan and associated policies, procedures, and programs to ensure achievement of business objectives. Meets with residents and/or families of residents when concerns of sensitive issues are discussed to ensure compassion and respect are always practiced. Participates in Resident Council meetings as requested by the residents. Recognizes and rewards staff for exemplary performance and participation in organization-wide initiatives.

QualificationsEducation:

Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
Licensed in Minnesota as an Assisted Living Director (required), also as a Nursing Home Administrator (preferred)

Experience:

7-10 years of progressive senior living operations and leadership experience, including at least two years leading a full-continuum or CCRC campus.
Previous experience in opening a brand-new building is desirable.

Special knowledge, skills, and abilities:

Ability to engage and communicate effectively with nursing staff, physicians, families, and customers.
Promote and assure safe, quality client and resident care.
Lead, direct, and provide continuous improvement and best practice.
Passion for caring for older adults.
Identify and measure quality indicators translating to quantifiable outcomes.
Demonstrate successful business development and growth in services.
Strong financial acumen and fiscal/budget experience.
Strong MS Office proficiency.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
