Primary Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate client communications.
Focusing on providing clear and effective solutions to technical questions, while ensuring customer satisfactionLiaise with our internal stakeholders (senior leadership, legal, privacy teams, technical product teams, sales teams) to help obtain appropriate approvals and drive critical decision-makingExecute creative problem solving and critical thinking on the jobMaintain a high degree of accuracy along with attention to detail, excellent oral and written communication skills, solid interpersonal skills, and the ability to always meet deadlinesTake accountability for work within a fast paced, exciting environment and learn from challenges as they arisePerform health care and / or health policy focused quantitative and qualitative research and analysis to review data and achieve measurable outcomes for clientsYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.
Required Qualifications:
Currently on the Actuarial exam track, having passed a minimum of 3 or more actuarial exams 3+ years of experience working in a consultancy, actuarial or healthcare field3+ years of customer facing experienceExperience working with formulas, calculations, charts, graphs in MS ExcelPreferred Qualifications:
Associate of Society of Actuaries (ASA) designationDemonstrated ability to communicate effectively, including written and verbal forms of communicationProven track record of working closely with multiple stakeholders to deliver excellent client experienceProven flexibility to handle changing priorities/requirements/deadlinesDemonstrated ability to work proactively and collaboratively on all assignments with various teams both internal and external to OptumDemonstrated eager to learn about and work on a variety of different projects/assignmentsProven problem-solving skills (identification of issue, causes, solution, implementation plan)

The salary range for this role is $88,000 to $173,200 annually.
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc.
