Nuestra planta de fabricación de bombas de Taneytown, MD, tiene más de 150.000 pies cuadrados y ofrece capacidad para ingeniería, diseño, servicio al cliente, mecanizado, montaje y pruebas para una cartera de productos diversa, que sirve a todos los mercados (energía, petróleo y gas, recursos hídricos, industria general y química).
Las instalaciones se han ampliado cuatro veces desde su apertura en 1971 para adaptarse al crecimiento de los ingresos y al desarrollo de la línea de productos.

Resumen del rol:
Flowserve está buscando un Operador de Máquina (Desbarbado/Rectificado) en nuestras instalaciones de fabricación en Taneytown, MD.
El individuo llevará a cabo una variedad de tareas dentro de nuestro departamento de Equilibrio Burr incluyendo la molienda de herramientas de precisión, el uso de grúas pluma, la ergonomía y el equipo de inspección.

Responsabilidades:
Leerá y documentará las escalas para verificar que las piezas son conformes.
Ejecutará y observará el funcionamiento de la máquina y verificará la calidad de las piezas de trabajo terminadas según las especificaciones mediante autoinspecciones.
Utilizará herramientas manuales para desbarbar, cortar y pulir piezas.
Utilizar grúas puente y grúas pluma para levantar y mover piezas pesadas.
Deberá trabajar en otras áreas del departamento cuando sea necesario.
Trasladar materiales y piezas a y desde las áreas de trabajo mediante carretillas elevadoras y carretillas elevadoras.
Utilizará herramientas manuales, herramientas neumáticas, amoladoras y taladros manuales.
Responsable de completar con precisión los informes de certificación
Cumplir todos los procedimientos y políticas de seguridad.
Completar todos los cursos de Pure Safety y otros cursos de seguridad que se requieran.
Requisitos:
Capacidad para trabajar en un entorno orientado al trabajo en equipo y al PIC
Capacidad para seguir instrucciones complejas verbales y escritas
Conocimientos básicos de matemáticas de taller
Capacidad para permanecer de pie durante periodos prolongados, realizar movimientos repetitivos con los brazos, levantar objetos con frecuencia y ocasionalmente hasta 50 lbs.
Capacidad para trabajar horas extras según sea necesario
Diploma de Educación Secundaria o GED
Habilidades preferidas:
Experiencia previa en mecanizado o campo similar.
Experiencia en el uso e interpretación de instrumentos de medición de precisión, como micrómetros, relojes comparadores y medidores de profundidad.
Capacidad para leer e interpretar planos, tolerancias geométricas y acabados durante la aplicación del mecanizado.
Certificación de carretilla elevadora.
