Job Summary:
Performs a variety of ultrasound procedures using required ACR standards.
Assists the Radiologist with invasive procedures when required.
Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of diagnostic ultrasound image acquisition.
Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of EPIC and PACS workflow.
Educational/Experience Requirements:
• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
• Provides evidence of continuing education as required to maintain certification
• Current ARDMS and CPR certification
• At least two years as a diagnostic technologist
• Strong prioritization and triage skills are necessary to maintain a smooth workflow
• Proficiency in scanning general, vascular, upper and lower extremity venous Doppler, as well as some pediatric exams, is also required.
Shift: Full-Time 40/hrs per week, Night shift, Mon-Fri 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM with rotating weekend nights call.
