Assistant Project Manager

We are seeking a driven self-starter to join the sales team as a Assistant Project Manager/Estimating Coordinator here at Kaloutas.

As an Assistant Project Manager , you will be assisting the Sales Team as they determine the overall costs of a new or existing construction project. You will gather price quotes, blueprints, specifications, and related documents. You will work closely with the Project Managers to ensure accurate communication regarding the customer's goals. This position is mainly out of our Auburn Office, while also visiting customer sites in the vicinity.

Primary Job Responsibilities

Creating Proposal Folders
Creating Calendar events on Project Managers calendars for bid due dates and any other activities such as RFI deadlines and scheduled walkthrough's
Gathering of bid related information and organizing it in the proposal folders
Naming and organizing drawings and relevant specification sections
Loading relevant drawings for Painting and Flooring into Planswift software
Organizing relevant drawings and specs for Fireproofing and handing them off to the Fireproofing Estimating team
Reviewing finish schedule and specs with PM for specialty products, then Calling and Emailing Vendors for pricing, availability, and other information
Once jobs are won and the Project Manager has set up the job in Salesforce the Assistant PM will be responsible for creating job folders as well as gathering of job-related information and organizing it in the job folders
Requesting submittals from vendors
Requesting samples and paint color drawdowns from vendors
Once jobs are completed; requesting, organizing and sending out any required close out information and warranty letters

Qualifications

You are detail oriented
You demonstrate self-control and an ability to manage time and priorities
You enjoy working as part of a team
Superior communication and organization development skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross‐functional teams.
Experience with the following software: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Experience with Estimating Software or similar Document Control Programs

Compensation

The APM position is full-time, exempt, with an annual salary range of $55,000 to $65,000.
This position is eligible for quarterly bonuses bases on individual production and profitability.
This position is benefits eligible; 3 weeks PTO
