Benjamin Franklin Cummings Institute of Technology (Franklin Cummings Tech) is a private, non-profit, two-year technical college located in Boston. Founded in 1908, the college proudly continues a long tradition of educating students for high-demand technical careers in a variety of industries, including automotive, advanced manufacturing, computer technology, engineering and construction management. With a mission to deliver transformative technical and trade education that leads to economic advancement, our unique mixture of 1, 2, and 4-year programs are delivered both in-person and on-line to appeal to student's demand for flexible program delivery.
Our graduation and job placement rates are among the best in the nation among two-year colleges. Because of our impact and outcomes, Franklin Cummings Tech recently received the largest gift in its history: $12.5 million from the Cummings Foundation to continue to advance its leading-edge work in creating technical career pathways for students typically underrepresented in post-secondary education.
In FY22, Franklin Cummings Tech was the academic home to almost 900 learners. Half of those learners were students enrolled in traditional credit-bearing programs. The balance enrolled in a combination of continuing education and contract education programs. In the coming years, the College seeks to boost the number of students in credit-bearing courses, while also expanding continuing education and contract education so that we are educating more than 1,000 learners.
Work-study program:
The College Work-Study Program provides jobs for students with financial need. This program is a subsidized student employment program designed to assist students in financing their post-secondary education. Students earn money according to the hours worked and these funds help pay their educational expenses. In order to be eligible for Work-Study, students must document financial need every year by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Work-study is a need-based award that cannot be awarded to a student if the award combined with other resources would exceed the student's need. Students are awarded funds based on their financial need but are only paid for hours worked. Any unearned funds at the end of the program term are forfeited. Students applying for this work-study position are not guaranteed a position. Work-study earnings are not paid in advance so they cannot be used to pay the direct costs (tuition, books, etc.) of the semester in which they are awarded.

The Admissions team is looking for students to help recruit the next class. Be part of a joyful, fast-paced, caring team that looks out for each other, with frequent celebrations of individual and team accomplishments. Requirements
Work-study requirements:
Must complete the entire Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
Must demonstrate financial need and indicate your interest in the work-study program
Must be currently enrolled in enough credit hours at Benjamin Franklin Cummings
Institute of Technology to qualify for the Federal work-study program.
Responsibilities: Reach out to applicants and let them know about next steps in the pipeline.
Answer questions of prospective students about the admissions process.
Reach out to prospective students and invite them to apply to the school.
Track your progress in our database.
Spread the word about the school at big summer events, like the Puerto Rican Festival.
Support creative social media campaigns to drive attention to Franklin Cummings Tech.
