• Petroleum Service Corporation is seeking a Material Handler / Warehouse Associate to join our team at a chemical plant / manufacturing facility in Louisville, KY. Experience is not required, and paid on-the-job training is available. This is a full-time position with the opportunity of advancement and potential to be hired on by the facility. • Work Schedule:
• 12-hour rotating shifts (rotates between days, nights, on call and off days)

• Pay Range:
• $24.00 - $25.00 an hour

• Job Duties & Responsibilities:
•

• Prepares all bulk bags, super sacks or gaylord boxes to be filled with plastic additive powder or pellets.

• Safely and efficiently operates any of the four automated packaging stations on the production line by filling either bulk bags, super sacks or gaylord boxes.

• Properly places all labels on filled bags/ boxes and conducts a quality control check to ensure accuracy in lot and item numbers.

• Operates the sit-down forklift to move the shrink-wrapped pallets to the appropriate weighing station to verify accurate weights.

• Loads finished pallets onto trailers for outbound shipment by operating the forklift.

• Completes any other duties that may be assigned to complete the job.

• Job Qualifications:
•

• Must be able to follow OSHA safety standards and be safety conscious at all times.

• Must possess a valid drivers license.

• 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.

• Stable work history with good references from past employers.

• Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check.

• PSC is a veteran-friendly company. Previous military experience and proven ability to follow procedures is a plus.

• Physical Requirements:

You must be able to:

• Speak, write, read fluent English. Hear and have good vision

• Regular on-site attendance and punctuality is required

• Work outside in environmental conditions which at times include extreme heat or extreme cold

• Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) without restriction and pass any medical examination associated with the use of PPE

• Lift 60 pounds floor to waist

• Push and pull 30 pounds horizontally

• Carry 20 pounds while walking

• Climb stairs and ladders

• Stand 8-12 hours per day

• Extend arms through normal range of motion while standing and squatting
