Make your mark for patientsTo strengthen our Rheumatology Sales Team, we are looking for a talented leader to join our team in the position of:
Rheumatology District Sales Lead for the Nashville, Cincinnati and Louisville territory.
The District Sales Lead Rheumatology role is responsible for driving demand for assigned product(s) by motivating, inspiring and leading Clinical Account Specialists (CAS) activities within an assigned District.
The Clinical Account Specialists are charged with engaging and building relationships with Rheumatologists, their allied health professionals, and office support staff.
Delivers consistent, compliant sales results of assigned product(s) by leading and directing the activities of Clinical Account Specialists (CAS)Ensures the execution of company business strategyCoaches and develops a results-oriented team of CASs who influence medical stakeholders' use of UCB productsEnsures team understands and applies in-depth clinical and business expertise, along with demonstration of effective selling skillsBuilds relationships with all internal/external stakeholders, to establish a known, long-term presence of UCB ImmunologyEstablishes an understanding of the local ecosystems, the payor environment, and medical/pharmacy benefitsMaintains a thorough understanding of the competitive marketplace and drivers of prescriber decisionsAbility to drive and/or fly to meetings and client sites.
Overnight travel of 25-50% may be requiredInterested? For this position you'll need the following education, experience and skills:
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required3+ years of successful management and/or supervisory experience of a team selling an FDA approved specialty product or device5 years direct selling experience to healthcare professionals in the pharmaceutical, biotech, device or healthcare industry that has included:
• Knowledge of pull-through and market access strategies- Discussing therapeutic strategies to inform and influence decision makers- Developing, applying clinical/business expertise, and effective selling skills- Executing marketing strategies at the local levelDemonstrated leadership, analytical, business and strategic planning skills Demonstrated understanding of managed care landscape and how it influences/impacts businessStrong verbal, influencing, presentation and written communication skills Strong collaboration skills and success working in teamsResides within assigned geographyValid driver's license requiredPreferred Qualifications:
Marketing, Sales Training, Sales Operations or Market Access experienceCompletion of a professional leadership development programExperience in reimbursement Experience with Injectable/Buy & Bill biologic productsBiologic product launch experienceExperience in calling on RheumatologistsExpected Salary Range:
$157,900-$207,300 based on experiencePlease note:
