Churchill Group are seeking professional Corporate Security/Concierge Officers to protect our customers site, assets and personnel. You will be a visual deterrent on site to help prevent any theft, damage, or other illegal activities taking place. Your duties would include, but are not limited to, access control, reporting incidents and patrolling. Customer care and service excellence are high on the agenda and therefore it is crucial that you are able to demonstrate your understanding and experience of these key elements.
The current shift pattern includes days, nights and weekends and averages at 56 hours per week however there may be some degree of flexibility for the right person. • Key Responsibilities* Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry to authorised personnel only
• Ensuring that all permitted visitors receive a high end customer experience from entry to exit.
• Providing a level of Service Excellence at all times.
• Prevent loss and damage.
• Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate accordingly
• Provide a Front of House Concierge service provision as and when requested
• Take accurate notes to complete reports, logbook entries and all relevant paperwork to a high standard - including reporting in detail any incidents occurring whilst on duty
• Monitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates
• Ensure risk assessment and assignment instructions are always followed to meet requirements
• To assist in training new security officers in all aspects of their job
• You may also need to attend training courses, as requested
• To take effective action in an emergency and co-operate fully with the relevant services
• Enforce all relevant health and safety requirements at all times
• Carry out any other duties of a reasonable request by the client
• Personal Specification* Valid SIA License
• Personal presentation of a very high standard
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in a customer facing role
• Good Organisational skills
• Own transport
• Computer literate
• High level of professionalism
• Reliable with excellent time keeping and attendance
• Ability to use initiative and be adaptable
• Ability to work effectively on your own and as part of a team
• Desirable* Self-motivated
• Experience working with the Security industry
• Enthusiastic and willing to develop new skills
