• Summary:*
A.Y. McDonald Mfg. Co. is a leading manufacturer of water works brass, plumbing valves, pumps and water systems, natural gas valves, and meter bars. The fifth generational company is privately owned and has a history of providing quality products since its founding in 1856.
We currently have an opportunity for a Territory Manager. This will be for a multiple product line representation for the states of Kansas, Oklahoma, and Western Missouri.
• Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:*
• Develop and maintain Distributors within the territory. Assure that we are aligned with the Top Distributors in the market to maximize sales opportunities and customer relationships within the assigned territory.
• Maintain customer relations and interact with municipalities, contractors, and water districts for purposes of bidding and product specifications.
• Required Qualifications:*
• A four-year business or related degree and five years or more of sales and/or industry experience are preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
• Water pump, plumbing, or water works industry experience preferred.
• Must be aggressive self-starter who can work independently. Must also be well organized, detail-oriented, and have excellent communication skills.
• Extensive overnight travel is required.
• Relocation within the territory is required.
