Work with the analytics and operations team on various projects, or continuing operations, requiring both automated and manual investigation of issues such as:
membership, revenue reconciliation, claims processing and medical expense, and provider network.
If you reside in Hawaii or are able to work Hawaii Standard Time day schedule, you'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely

Primary Responsibilities:
Using professional judgment and advanced clinical knowledge collaborate on quality initiatives including but not limited to those to improve clinical business processes, interpret clinical specifications to support development and validation of clinical dashboardsGenerating reports, summaries, and presentations based on abstracted data for various stakeholders, such as healthcare administrators, and regulatory agenciesCreating detailed Dashboards and reports to showcase business performance and opportunities.
Maintaining existing reporting structures and adapting them to new data setsIdentify business requirements and work with your team to translate into a technical design requirementLead project tasks and manage deliverables through the entire life cycle, including converting business needs into tasks through implementationMaintain and update SQL/Snowflake codebase to support identification algorithms, Clinical measures and utilization analysisProvide project management support and clearly communicate project progress to stakeholders and business leadersAssume responsibility for data integrity and the improvement of data qualityCollaborate with Hawaii Clinical and Quality teams including the Health Coordinators, quality management teams, UM clinical teams, behavioral health teams to support care for our membersAssist with the execution of testing, QA and production roll out of reporting solutions and project enhancements, including documentation, & customer trainingYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:
6+ years of experience in business analysis or data analysis6+ years of database experience, such as MS SQL, Oracle, or Snowflake4+ years of experience in process/workflow documentation and ability to evaluate business processes and identify opportunities for improvementExperience with Business Intelligence software and setting up reports from BI tools, including Integration Services, Analysis Services, Reporting Services, or Tableau and Power BIExperience in troubleshootingSolid proficiency Oracle queries, Snowflake queries, MS SQL server queries, stored procedures, database design, SSIS, and skills in writing Excel/Access VBAAdvanced database skills in SQL including queries, database design, SSIS, and performance improvementsAdvanced level in SQL coding or any other languagesAdvanced Excel skillsPreferred Qualifications:
Healthcare experience within a managed care and / or hospital settingKnowledge of clinical indicators, measures and terminologyDetail oriented and comfortable with complex data setsOrganized thinking and planning, deductive reasoningExcellent communication, time/project management, problem solving, organization and analytical skillsETL and SSIS knowledge

The salary range for this role is $88,000 to $173,200 annually.
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc.
