POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented 5S Coordinator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the 5S methodology (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) across our production facilities to ensure a clean, organized, and efficient work environment. Key Responsibilities:

Develop and Implement 5S Standards: Create and enforce 5S policies and procedures throughout the manufacturing floor.
Training and Development: Conduct training sessions for employees on 5S principles and best practices to ensure company-wide adherence.
Audit and Inspection: Perform regular 5S audits to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement. Document findings and follow up on corrective actions.
Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with various departments to promote a culture of continuous improvement and identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency.
Visual Management: Develop and maintain visual management systems, including signage, floor markings, and shadow boards, to support 5S initiatives.
Project Management: Lead and participate in 5S projects aimed at improving workspace organization, reducing waste, and enhancing safety.
Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on 5S activities, progress, and performance metrics to management.
Employee Engagement: Foster a positive and proactive work environment by encouraging employee participation in 5S activities and recognizing outstanding contributions.

SKILLS ABILITIESEducation: Associates' Degree in Organizational Leadership, or equivalent

Experience: 3 - 5 years training experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Computer Skills: Microsoft Office, LMS JD Edwards.

Knowledge: Thorough understanding of 5S methodology and Lean manufacturing practices.
