Cognizant is seeking a INFRA OPS SPECIALIST

• Roles & Responsibilities :

- Oversee the daily operations of Mainframe systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

- Lead the monitoring and management of batch processes identifying and resolving issues promptly.

- Ensure the effective implementation and use of CA-7 for batch operations streamlining workflows and enhancing system efficiency.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support infrastructure projects providing expert guidance on Mainframe and batch processing.

- Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations operations and troubleshooting procedures.

- Conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and security policies.

- Implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans for critical Mainframe systems.

- Train and mentor junior team members fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

- Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in Mainframe operations and batch processing recommending improvements as necessary.

- Work closely with stakeholders in the Life and Annuities Insurance domain to understand their requirements and ensure that infrastructure operations align with business goals.

-Qualifications

- Must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in infrastructure operations with a focus on Mainframe and Batch Monitoring.

- Proven expertise in CA-7 Batch Operations is essential.

- Strong background in the Life and Annuities Insurance domain is required.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

- Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.

- Commitment to continuous learning and improvement in the field of infrastructure operations.

The annual salary for this position is between $100000 - $150000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
