Responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARY

Assesses gynecological and non-gynecological specimens submitted to the Cytopathology laboratory. Serves as technical expert to assist in the training of physicians and medical students. Assists the Pathologists in performing fine needle aspirations.

$5,000 Sign-on Bonus

$3,000 relocation bonus available (if aplicable)

Qualifications

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Education/Qualification

• Five years experience in clinical Cytology laboratory

• Bachelors degree in Biological Science

• Certified in Cytotechnology by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP)

• As required by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), employee with access to blood irradiator in the Transfusion Service section must be subjected to fingerprinting and a Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) identification and criminal history records check.
