We are looking for a Network Installation Technician (Tier II)The Network Installation Technician is responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network infrastructure components to support organizational IT systems.
This role involves deploying network equipment, cabling, and connectivity solutions in accordance with established standards and procedures.
A Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain SCI is required for this position.
A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field is preferred.
Certifications such as CompTIA Network+ and Cisco CCNA are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and test network hardware and software components, including routers, switches, and wireless access points.
Deploy structured cabling solutions to support network connectivity, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to procure network equipment and accessories.
Ensure compliance with network security policies and procedures during installations.
Collaborate with network engineers and other IT teams to plan and schedule network installation projects.
Provide technical support and assistance during network installation projects, troubleshooting issues as needed.
Document network configurations, diagrams, and installation procedures for reference and knowledge sharing.
Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine network installation requirements.
Participate in IT project planning, coordination, and implementation as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in network installation or related role.
Active Top Secret clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access.
Knowledge of network infrastructure components and configurations.
Experience with structured cabling standards and practices.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, or equivalent are preferred but not required
