• Position Title: CNC Set-up Machinist
• Pay Rate Range: $25/hr.- $32/hr. depending on experience
• Schedule(s)/Hours 1st shift (7 am to 3:30 pm) Mon.- Fri.
• Location: Portland, CT
• Responsibilities Include:
• + Operating CNC and other manufacturing machines to produce machined parts;
• Planning production by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters.
• Interpret Geometric Dimensions and Tolerances (GD&T).
• Ensuring proper dimensions and tolerance levels for the finished product.
• Experience:
• + 3 yrs. + experience with CNC machine operation in aerospace or medical device industry.
• CNC Set-up experience is MUST
• Perform basic mathematical computations.
• Geometric Dimensions and Tolerances (GD&T) knowledge is required.
• Ability to use measuring equipment: calipers, micrometers, gauges, indicators etc.
• Qualifications Include:
• + Attention to detail and must be quality conscious
• Excellent communication skills
• High school diploma or equivalent
