What will you do in this role:
Work closely with our care partners to deliver quality care and serviceComplete admission data collection on all newly admitted residents to ensure accuracy and completenessTransfer and discharges residents with appropriate and accurate informationResponsible for following through on resident incidents and grievances by taking appropriate action and reporting immediately to supervisorEnsure that nursing service work areas (i.e.
nurse s stations, medicine preparation rooms, resident rooms, treatment areas, etc.) are maintained in a clean, safe and sanitary mannerResponsible for managing day-to-day resident and nursing care activitiesDemonstrate Balfour Service and Operational Values in every encounterAssist with training new care partnersCommunicate with families, vendors and outside providers to provide the best care possible for residentsYou have:
Valid and current LPN state license requiredKnowledge and experience in bedside nursingAbility to work effectively as part of a teamAbility to maintain a customer focus treating all customers with respect and integrityAbility to read, speak, and understand the English languageFlexibility, and adaptable to change and paceA warm & encouraging dispositionYou might also have:
Demonstrated talent for interacting with a wide variety of people, particularly the elderly and their family membersCPR CertificationIV Therapy CertificationPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS:
Ability to lift a minimum of 55 lbs.
