Mass properties engineers are responsible for all aspects of mass properties on aircraft programs from preliminary weight estimation, mass properties database generation, regular weight status updates, to final aircraft weighing.The ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area is a leader in ISR and aviation, and it is a leading prime manned and unmanned aircraft systems integrator for innovative, high-performance ISR and aviation systems.
Its end-to-end Command, Control, Computers, Communications and Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (C4ISR) capabilities encompass design, integration, test, certification, ground/flight training and complete logistics support.

Bachelor's of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or other related discipline and typically 17 or more years of relevant experienceDemonstrated knowledge of engineering principles and practicesExperience with Computer Aided Engineering tools and Finite Element Analysis (FEA)Advanced experience working in multi-disciplinary design and development teamsThorough understanding of SAWE RP7 and prior experience authoring SAWE RP8 reportsBackground in the Aerospace and Defense IndustryUp to 50% travel to Wichita, KS required for the position.The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S.

$138,634.92 - $190,623.01.
