Come join our world-class team as a Senior Software Engineer to build the world-class data sharing platform to drive the marketplace applications.AS A DATA MARKETPLACE SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER AT SNOWFLAKE, YOU WILL :
Design, build, and maintain global services, APIs and systems that power our marketplace applications.Collaborate with product managers, architects, other engineering teams, data science organizations, business groups, to drive end to end solutions.Work closely with our frontend engineers to build highly performant backend services that support a cutting edge interactive UI.Contribute to improving our engineering processes, tooling, and standards.Debug production issues across multiple services and improve reliability/stability.OUR IDEAL SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER WILL HAVE:
10+ years industry experience designing, building and supporting large-scale systems in production.Extremely strong fundamental computer science skills.Deep multi-faceted appreciation in building end-to-end customer facing products.Strong Knowledge of Java.Knowledge of database internals is a big plus.Experience driving company initiatives towards customer satisfaction.Experience working with cross teams and product managers.BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or related majors, or equivalent experience.The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role:
The estimated pay range for this role is $183,000 - $270,200.Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake's bonus and equity plan.The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
This role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes:
