Responsibilities:
DESIGN, IMPLEMENT, AND MAINTAIN NOSQL DATABASES, WITH A FOCUS ON MONGODB. OPTIMIZE DATABASE PERFORMANCE AND SCALABILITY. TROUBLESHOOT DATABASE ISSUES AND PROVIDE TECHNICAL SUPPORT. DEVELOP DATA MODELS AND DATABASE SCHEMAS. COLLABORATE WITH DEVELOPERS AND OTHER STAKEHOLDERS TO UNDERSTAND DATA NEEDS AND REQUIREMENTS. ENSURE DATA SECURITY AND COMPLIANCE WITH REGULATIONS. STAY UP-TO-DATE WITH INDUSTRY TRENDS AND ADVANCEMENTS. PARTICIPATE IN DATABASE ARCHITECTURE AND DESIGN DECISIONS. WORK WITH DATA MODELING AND DATABASE SCHEMA DESIGN. WORK WITH RELATED TECHNOLOGIES SUCH AS SQL, CLOUD COMPUTING PLATFORMS, AND DATA WAREHOUSING.
Qualifications:
MINIMUM EDUCATION: BACHELOR'S DEGREE IN COMPUTER SCIENCE, INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY, OR RELATED FIELD.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 5 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE AS A DATABASE EXPERT WITH A SPECIALIZATION IN NOSQL DATABASES, SPECIFICALLY MONGODB.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: ON CALL ROTATION OUTSIDE OF NORMAL BUSINESS HOURS, FOR 24 CONSECUTIVE HOURS, ONCE EVERY 6 WEEKS. MUST PASS TECHNICAL INTERVIEW.
OFFERED WAGE: $196,685 - $230,900 PER YEAR
