We are Del Monte Foods - Growers of Good.The Senior Director Commercial Finance partners closely with commercial business teams with responsibility for financial planning and analysis, financial reporting, and business strategic support.
This position will work cross-functionally and require a deep understanding of key business drivers, metrics, and insights to deliver business results.
The candidate will have frequent interaction with executive leadership.
This role will focus on short- and long-term financial planning and analysis of business operations for the purpose of measuring and forecasting future business performance including:
analysis of internal financial information, analysis of external economic conditions and their impact on business operations, and financial modeling to measure and forecast potential impacts of financial transactions and business activities.
Key customers will include Marketing, Sales, and executive management.This Position is fully remote and can be located in the following states:
AR, CA, CO, FL, GA, IL, IN, MI, MN, NJ, NC, NV, OH, PA, TN, TX, VA, WA, WI.The salary range for this role is:
$140,920 - $253,656.Responsibilities:
Partner closely with the commercial business functions, particularly Marketing, to monitor and assess overall business and financial performance; serve as strategic thought partner and CFO for the commercial business.Analyze internal financial information, e.g., profit loss accounts, financial statements, working capital, costs, prices, expenses, revenues, rates of return, etc.Analyze external economic conditions and their impact on business operations, e.g., inflation, interest rates, exchange rates, etc.Financial modeling to measure and forecast potential impacts of financial transactions and corporate development activities.
Drive continuous improvements across processes ensuring timely and accurate reporting and analysis.
Improve Finance capabilities to deliver better insights.Lead the forecasting and budgeting processes including monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts, and long-range plans.
Lead overall P&L consolidation and provide key insights to business commercial teams and executive leadership.Develop key financial schedules for Board of Directors meetings, in conjunction with the CFO and other executive leaders.Provide decision support for innovation and profitability initiatives.
Deliver cost modeling for potential new product co-manufacturing locations, cost analysis for 'in-house vs.
outsource' reviews, and formulation changes.Partner with Corporate Controller to ensure compliance with corporate policy and accounting principles.
Participate in Balance Sheet reviews to ensure the proper capitalization of costs and to improve working capital management.Other duties as assigned.Del Monte Foods Key Behaviors:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; MBA strongly preferred.10+ years of relevant experience in Finance, ideally with significant roles supporting commercial business units including Marketing and Sales, as well as some time spent in Supply Chain and Corporate Finance roles.Detail-oriented with a high level of organization.Ability to drive for results.Effective communicator and business partner.Ability to collaboratively influence others to achieve goals.Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.Functional/technical proficiency in SAP, Business Planning Platform, and BI.
SAP experience (CO) preferred.Financial management experience in forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis.Knowledge of supply chain (Manufacturing, Transportation and Warehousing).Solid understanding of cost/supply chain accounting principles; experience in CPG industry preferred.Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and meet aggressive deadlines.Demonstrated results in driving process improvement via a continuous improvement mindsetWE OFFER:
