JOB SUMMARY:

The Lead Spa Massage Therapist is responsible for leading and supervising a team of massage therapists, ensuring the highest level of quality and service in all massage treatments. This position will be instrumental in enhancing the overall spa experience and promoting a sense of well-being among our clients.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform a wide range of massage therapies, body treatments, and wellness services, tailored to the individual needs of each client
Supervise and lead a team of massage therapists
Train new therapists in spa protocols and techniques
Build strong rapport with clients and recommend treatments
Collaborate with spa management to develop treatment protocols, maintain quality standards, and ensure a consistent guest experience
Collaborate closely with spa management to identify and introduce new and innovative treatment offerings that align with current market trends and client preferences
Stay informed about emerging massage therapy techniques, products, and equipment to enhance the spa's service menu
Monitor and manage the cleanliness, organization, and ambiance of treatment rooms and spa facilities to uphold a serene and relaxing environment
Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback with professionalism and a commitment to exceptional customer service
Ensure treatment rooms and related areas are clean and well stocked. Inform management team when additional supplies are needed
Perform any other duties as requested by management

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Previous luxury spa experience preferred.
High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience (one year minimum) in a hotel or a related field preferred.
Proven leadership and supervisory skills
Must hold and maintain a State licensed massage therapist license and required insurance.
Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.
Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
Must work well in stressful high-pressure situations.
Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.
