Qualifications You Must Have:
• Typically, Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience or 6 years of directly related experience.
• Active and transferable U.S.
government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date.
U.S.
citizenship is required, as only U.S.
citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
• Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent certification) or be able to be certified within 6 months of hire date
• Experience with Linux architecture, deployment, administration, performance monitoring/tuning, security hardening, and troubleshooting, or Experience with Windows OSs and administration (Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, LDAP)
• Experience with some of the following but not limited to the following technologies:
Active Directory, WSUS, VMware, Veeam, AWS, MySQL, Remote Desktop Gateway, infrastructure backup, restore, disaster recovery and business continuity products.
Qualifications We Prefer:
• Direct working experience with NISPOM, JAFAN, JSIG, DFARS and/or DoD/RMF
• Working experience in Windows Desktop & Server, or Redhat Enterprise Linux
• Experience with data storage, NAS, and SAN technologies and solutions
• Experience with using Information Technology project lifecycle management processes
• Experience using VMWare vCenter, vSphere, and ESX and/or other virtual computing methods
• Experience supporting engineers in software, simulations, and hardware development
• Experience with Microsoft WSUS, SCCM, and/or Exchange
• High Performance Computing (HPC) experience in a Linux environment
• Scripting Experience

The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD.
The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role.
If the successful candidate resides in a U.S.
territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
