Legal Assistant - Real Estate/Finance & Restructuring

We are seeking aReal Estate / Finance & Restructuring Legal Assistantto join our growing Phoenix office. As a valued team member, you will provide legal administrative support in a fast-paced environment to attorneys and paralegals. Do you love working with clients? Are you a strong communicator with excellent executive assistant skills? If so, we would appreciate hearing from you as we build our team. This is a hybrid position, which will require at least 4 days/week in the office.

In this role, you will:

Provide legal administrative assistant support to multiple timekeepers which may include partners, associates, and paralegals.

Communicate and work with clients, service providers, and employees within the Firm.

Proofread, edit, format, and draft electronic correspondence and other memorandum for accuracy to ensure a high-quality product.

Assist with time entry, opening new matters, drafting engagement letters and audit responses, and process expense reimbursements.

Responsible for billing process and other administrative tasks, including client contact.

Maintain attorney calendars by scheduling appointments, conference calls, meetings, and travel arrangements.

File paper and electronic documents and information promptly and accurately, working primarily in our document management system.

Provide support and assist other legal assistants with work overflow and vacation coverage as needed.

Proactively solve problems and provide a high level of customer service to our attorneys and clients.

May be requested to perform other duties not mentioned above.

What we're looking for:

At least 4 years of legal assistant experience.

Excellent communication skills.

Strong client service focus and skills.

Experience with Federal and State Court filing systems.

Ability to handle multiple tasks in a highly demanding environment with tight time frames.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).

Strong attention to details, proofreading and organizational skills.

Ability to work as a team member and communicate effectively with all levels of personnel.

Occasional flexibility regarding work hours (overtime may be requested).

High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
