Client is one of the top financial services providers in the nation, recognized and awarded for their customer satisfaction, sustainable profitability, and overall stability and security. Originating in North Carolina, they continue to hold all of their IT in the Raleigh-Durham area and have a great reputation for their technical diversity and excellence.

They recently went through a merger with Another client, becoming one of the top 20 largest financial services companies in the nation, at over $100 billion in assets, and recently acquired Silicon Valley Bank, making them a top 15 Bank.

Project Story:

They are about to kick off a project that will run through the end of the year, and the scope of this initiative is related to privacy automation. They presently use a privacy solution and the delivery is going to be leveraging and expanding out some of the tool's capabilities and building out customer development to extend and integrate with some of the systems they have. In terms of the functional aspects, there's

a consent management piece that they're focusing on that would allow people to opt in or out of different types of messaging, and the solution that they will be working on is to have a common kind of consent platform for the organization and extending that to have a kind of centralized data subject rights process, which would be requests from individuals who are exercising the right to access the information that the company has on them. They will be building a process to consolidate the various mechanisms now that the organization has one intake process and workflow, incorporating automation.

In addition, they are refining some of the privacy assessments - which are in in the tool - tuning, optimizing them from a SLOD perspective and rolling those out to the business.

The third aspect is the reporting piece, and it's going to be taking exports out of tools and doing Tableau development.

Business Analyst/Product Owner: The Business Analyst/Product Owner will be impactful in three core areas:

Developing user stories and requirements - this will involve working with stakeholders to document requirements - which lead has already laid the foundation for - then give these written requirements to the team of developers.

Documenting the user acceptance testing or release testing test cases and assisting with UAT functionally (writing UAT test conditions and conducting validation) - note that they have a professional that will do the more 'in the weeds' testing but this person will conduct testing from a more functional perspective, like validating requirements, etc.

They ideally want this person to do a bit of privacy tooling configuration, which they will provide training on.

Exposure to privacy as a whole is preferred but not required.

Strong communication skills will be essential for success here, due to the number of stakeholders this person will be supporting.
