Knollwood Pointe Senior Living Community is currently seeking Caregivers to care for the residents under the direction and supervision of the Assisted Living Director.

* Now hiring for 1st shift (7am to 3pm) and 2nd shift (3pm to 11pm).

Responsibilities:

* Responsible for supervision of self-administered medication for the Assisted Living Department in compliance with Federal & State regulations as directed by the LPN/LVN and/or the Assisted Living Director.

* Caring for the residents as if they were an extension of your own family.

* Assisting residents with Activities of Daily Living (bathing, dressing, toileting).

* Assisting some residents with Ambulation and Transferring.

* Takes and records vital signs.

* Measures and records height and weight. Calculates and records fluid intake and output.

* Recognizes abnormal changes in body functioning and the importance of reporting such changes to a supervisor.

* Provides emotional and social support to residents.

* Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

* Previous experience as a Caregiver required.

* Previous experience as a Med Aide/Tech required.

* Previous experience working in a Senior Living Community preferred.

* Caregiver Certification and/or Medication Aide Certification preferred.

* A high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
