Your Mission As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in shaping our company's legal strategies, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving successful contract negotiations with customers and partners.
Job summary Key ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities:

Legal Compliance and risk management:
Develop, implement, and oversee compliance programs to ensure the company's adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.Create and update company compliance manuals (e.g.
authorization manual)Stay up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations in the jurisdictions the company operates, and proactively adjust company practices and policies as needed to mitigate risks.Assess and mitigate legal risks associated with business decisions, ensuring the company's interests are protected while maintaining ethical practices.2.
Contract negotiation and management:
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide array of contracts, including customer and vendor agreements.
Ensure that these contracts align with the company's business goals and legal requirements.Work closely with sales and customer success teams to provide legal insights during contract negotiations, addressing customer concerns and ensuring successful deal closures.3.
Corporate Legal Leadership:
Provide strategic legal advice and support to the executive team on matters related to corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property, and other corporate legal issues.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in the technology and SaaS industry.Oversee the management of legal risks and liabilities, providing timely guidance to mitigate potential issues.4.
Cross-Departmental Support:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, sales, human resources, and product development to ensure legal considerations are integrated into company initiatives.Provide legal training to internal teams to enhance legal awareness and promote compliance best practices.Oversee the management of legal disputes, including negotiations, settlements, and, if necessary, litigation.6.
Data Privacy and Security:
Oversee the company's compliance with data protection laws, such as GDPR, especially relevant in the EU.
Advise on issues related to information security and cybersecurity.Required Skills and ExperienceJuris Doctor (JD) or equivalent degree from an accredited law school and active membership in the country's (EU incl UK or US) bar equivalent.
Specialization/considerable knowledge in Civil law is considered a benefit.Minimum of 7-10 years of relevant legal experience, including significant experience in corporate legal matters, customer contract negotiations, and legal compliance preferably with a focus on technology or SaaS industries.
Experience in an international legal environment is highly desirable.In-depth understanding of SaaS industry dynamics and related legal challenges, including but not limited to intellectual property, software licensing and cloud computing.Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to communicate complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships both internally and externally.Sound judgment and high ethical standards, with a commitment to upholding the company's values and legal integrity.If you are a highly motivated legal professional with a passion for the SaaS industry and a proven ability to navigate complex legal landscapes, we encourage you to apply.
