Seeking a seasoned professional with a flair for Neapolitan-style pizza craftsmanship to join our team at SUNDAYS – a charming wood-fired eatery and drink(ery), nestled within the walls of a beautifully restored church from 1933.
Here in Country Lane, Frankton, the heart of the suburbs, we've created more than just a dining destination – it's a community hub where locals (and everyone else) gather to indulge in the warmth of wood-fired Neapolitan pizzas and European-inspired shared plates.

The key responsibilities of a Pizza Chef at SUNDAYS include:Â

Meticulously craft Neapolitan-style pizzas to exacting standards including managing the quality of pizza during preparation and presentation stages
Develop menus and recipes featuring our signature Neapolitan-style pizzas and an enticing selection of shared plates and support the head chef in ordering stock
Operational excellence: ensure the smooth operation of our kitchen, maintaining impeccable standards of cleanliness, efficiency, and food safety. Including discussing with managers and other staff any food preparation issues, and giving advice on cookingÂ
Cost management: work closely with our head chef to manage food and wage costs, and identify cost savings and efficienciesÂ
Systems and processes:Â embrace technology to create efficiencies and help train other staff in pizza makingÂ

This is a permanent position guarateeing a minimum of 30 hours per week.Â

Applicants for this position should possess the following qualifications:Â

A minimum of one years' experience in the art of Neapolitan-style pizza preparation or other relevant experience
Proficiency in the management of food costs and inventory control
A genuine passion for excellence and a dedication to delivering exceptional dining experiencesÂ
Must be available to work Wednesday through Sunday each week
