We are looking for a full-time, permanent IT Support Analyst who can provide 1st and 2nd level technical support to internal users, ensuring timely resolution of IT issues and prioritising tasks effectively within the team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
Handle daily calls and tickets, maintaining a structured approach to support services.
Manage and support a variety of legacy systems, focusing on on-premise services with no cloud involvement.
Set up new user accounts on desktops, laptops, and mobile phones, including equipment procurement and documentation.
Address user login issues such as account lockouts or forgotten passwords, and resolve "Unable to Print" problems.
Install business-specific software and conduct on-site installations of computers, switches, and other networked devices.
Troubleshoot remote access, network, router, and connectivity issues.
Contribute to various improvement projects as required by the IT department.
Requirements for the role:
Minimum 3 years' experience in similar IT support roles, with a willingness to participate in shift rotations. Ideally, at least 1 year of experience within an MSP environment.
Proficiency in developing, improving, and maintaining daily tasks using PowerShell scripts or YAML.
Possession of a clean driver's license and capability to operate a manual vehicle, as the internal fleet includes manual vehicles.
Awareness of ITIL best practices and experience implementing them.
Technical expertise with Windows and Linux servers, and on premise & legacy technologies
Note: This is a challenging and dynamic role suitable for IT professionals accustomed to fast-paced environments and multi-technology adaptability. This role is fully onsite, 5 days per week with no work from home available.
