We're looking for an Adviser to join our Regulatory Services team in either our Auckland or Wellington office.
This frontline team is responsible for delivering effective and efficient assessment of potential misconduct in order to provide recommendations for action.
This position will see you act on intelligence, triage, and conduct enquiries into complaints about individuals and businesses.
Predominantly you'll be working with the unlicensed population, and you'll get the chance to dig around, get your hands dirty and use your analytical and investigative skills to get to the bottom of issues.
This team will continue to expand their community engagement activities to help raise awareness about the danger of scams and frauds.
This will enable you to be directly involved in work that will help New Zealanders to have confidence in our financial sector.
Due to nature of the role, you will be the type of person that likes to have upfront conversations that require lots of questioning and diplomacy.
You will have a natural curiosity and the ability to ask the right questions to solve issues.
This opportunity requires creativity in problem solving, exceptional communication skills and confidence presenting to varied audiences, both internally and externally.
You'll identify important issues and present insightful, well-researched reports with your strong analytical and reasoning skills.
Experience wise, we are keen to hear from people who come from either a regulatory background or have worked within the financial services space, ideally with an interest in Fintech and developing technologies.
While a solid knowledge of financial products is ideal, more importantly, you will have a natural curiosity and a nose for smelling out a potential issue.
You'll be accustomed to building and maintaining relationships through your positive attitude, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn and develop.
