Responsible for leading European business plan strategies, regional operations, building and developing operational talent and succession plans, leading efforts to maximize manufacturing footprint, delivering on Quality and supply chain requirements, improving overall site efficiencies, drive efforts to create strong financial value across facilities, working closely with commercial teams and customers, and guiding the business through key transformation activities.

What You Will Do

  • Lead from the front, our corporate culture and values known as Principle Based Management (PBM)
  • Develop our regional operational talent and create a robust succession pipeline
  • Ensure our focus on safety - including reduction of SIFs, Gemba Walks, 'See Something, Say Something,' are well understood and executed across all our locations
  • Provide clear direction and leadership related to achieving our 2025 strategic initiatives
  • Drive delivery on key customer, quality, and operational metrics
  • Deliver on customer commitments to program timelines and proactively create and communicate contingency plans
  • Consistently seek areas of operational efficiency (e.g., six sigma, automation, OpEx, improvement projects, etc.)
  • Guide the Operations teams in assessing and optimizing asset and footprint
  • Facilitate knowledge and resource sharing across our manufacturing facilities within region primarily, but also globally
  • Promote a culture where employees are motivated to maximize contribution and self-actualize in line with our Principle Based Management philosophy
  • Leverage our teams and value proposition related to manufacturing excellence

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Previous experience leading Operations / Manufacturing teams
  • Proven extensive work experience in a large international manufacturing environment in medical devices/pharma or similar industry.
  • Extensive experience in leading/supervising people
  • Bachelors' degree in a manufacturing related discipline, or equivalent experience
  • Strong leader - ability to demonstrate our PBM values, develop talent, and communicate the business vision
  • Principled Entrepreneur - Ability to leverage strong decision making and prioritization skills with business objectives
