Are you ready to join? #LI-THEAA #LI-Hybrid This is the jobIn this role, you'll be responsible for supporting the implementation of the company's Health and Safety strategy.
Your key tasks include maintaining high health and safety standards, ensuring statutory compliance, and promoting forward-thinking initiatives to foster an engaged Health and Safety culture.As a Lead Health &Safety Advisor, you'll collaborate with the Head of Group HSE to implement the HSE strategic plan.
Your responsibilities include conducting group-wide risk profiling to enhance risk management and establish priority areas for health and safety strategy.What will I be doing?Strategic Planning:
Collaborate with the Head of Group HSE to deliver the HSE strategic plan.Risk Profiling and Prioritisation:
Lead regular group-wide risk profiling to ensure effective risk management and establish risk-based priorities for health and safety strategy.Departmental/Regional Plans:
Develop group-wide H&S departmental/regional plans based on risk priorities.Stakeholder Engagement:
Work closely with key stakeholders to implement H&S management system programs group-wide.Health and Safety Support:
Provide advice, guidance, and technical support on H&S legislation across the group and conduct effective risk assessments for all departments within the regional/business area.Compliance and Documentation:
Stay informed about relevant UK H&S legislation, Codes of Practice, and Guidance and manage regional/business area H&S policies, procedures, and promotional material.Audits and Investigations:
Conduct H&S audits and inspections, reporting recommendations to stakeholders and handle safety investigations involving employees, contractors, and equipment.Additional Duties:
Address general HS&E inquiries, assess contractor policies, and provide staff training.

Demonstrable track record of success and achievements.Management Expertise:
Management experience in a similar role with proven leadership and coaching experience.Metrics and Culture Change:
Proven experience in developing and maintaining leading metrics and driving associated culture change.Strategic Deployment:
Proven experience of tactical deployment aligned with company strategy.Health & Safety Credentials:
NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety and Chartered member of IOSH.Audit and IT Skills:
