We are hiring an Asset Management Director within Allianz Capital Partners to be an integral part of the dir ect equity infrastructure investment team managing investments made by Allianz and the AEIFs.
We are open to considering candidates being based in London or Munich.

As its portfolio continues to grow, Allianz Capital Partners is committed to developing a dedicated active asset management team to oversee the whole-life investment approach, to drive value out of, and de-risk, the portfolio through active engagement and to provide a professional and consistent approach across all portfolio companies.

What you will do

• Lead individual asset management teams ensuring a 'one team approach' across office locations and across internal teams
• Serve as a board member or observer for Allianz's minority stakes in a small number of portfolio companies overseeing the investment performance and related decision-making
• Manage key relationships with asset level stakeholders, including management, employees, co-shareholders, debt providers and regulators to ensure that the business performs in line with expectations and that Allianz's voice is heard and its reputation protected
• Report internally on performance of underlying assets and their valuation
• Identify and execute additional investment opportunities that may arise through the portfolio company
• Co-ordinates activities with, and report to, the Head of Asset Management

What you bring

• Work experience (5-10 years) within infrastructure equity investment and asset management with a preference for other Infrastructure Funds, institutional investors or private equity firms focussing on real assets
• Experience in the European infrastructure market
• Personal and engagement skills to help influence decision-making
• Fluency in German is viewed positively, but not essential
• Creative and practical intelligence, evidenced by top class academics from leading academic institutions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
