Branch Assistant
Salary & Benefits:
£27,000 to £30,000 negotiable depending on experience
Excellent Contributory pension scheme

25 days holiday + bank holidays
Hours: 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday & 7:30am to 10:30am Saturday Rota (1-in-4 paid overtime)

Our client is a well-established Nationwide Electrical Distributor currently recruiting for a role that encompasses a wide range of duties within their busy trade counter and distribution centre in Shrewsbury.

Role: No two days are the same! Duties will include working within the warehouse, serving on the trade counter, answering incoming telephone calls and when necessary, delivering goods to customers.
As a Branch Assistant, this is the perfect opportunity to launch your career in customer service and sales in the Electrical Wholesale sector and to broaden your skills.
Person: You must be reliable and punctual, be self-motivated, organised, and enthusiastic. A solid work ethic and a can do attitude whilst contributing as team player that is willing to adapt to the daily needs of the business.
You must also have the following attributes:
Previous experience in an electrical wholesale or similar trade business is essential
Full UK Driving Licence
Good standard of English & Mathematics
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Attention to detail & well organised
A positive and hardworking attitude
Able to work well independently and in a small team
Flexible and adaptive personality
Key Responsibilities:
General warehouse duties (Picking/Packing orders, loading/unloading vans etc)
Serving customers on busy trade counter
Answering telephone calls and taking orders
Building, developing, and managing relationship with customers
Ensuring all records, systems and paperwork are kept up-to-date
Always providing exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards
Delivering goods to customers
