Transport Manager - Part Time - Clayton Hotel Manchester Airport
A fantastic opportunity is now available for an experienced Transport Manager to join Clayton Hotel Manchester Airport
With 365 bedrooms, 13 Meeting & Events room, plus our busy Aviator Bar and Grill Restaurant, this is a 24/7 property where you will never be bored!

Objective of the Role
Reporting to the Deputy General Manager, the Transport Managerwill support the transportation of the hotel buses to and from Manchester Airport.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
• To ensure all guest receive a genuine, warm and friendly welcome on arrival and departure of their stay
• To assistant with the movement of luggage
• Drive the hotel bus
• To ensure all guest queries are handled promptly and efficiently
• To ensure that all vehicles are maintained and serviced in accordance with current road regulations + legislation.
• To ensure the management of the Transport department and provide strategic advice and planning on logistics
• To be responsible for scheduling of rotas and rest days + planning routes cost effectively
Requirements:
• Proven experience in Transport Management
• It is essential that you hold a Transport Manager Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
• Must have a full clean D1 Driving License
• Excellent organisational skills
• To be prepared to be flexible with hours as operations is 7 days a week
• Strong communication and management skills. Ability to lead, inspire and motivate a diverse team of drivers
