L'INRS et son Centre Eau Terre Environnement (ETE), désire pourvoir un poste de professeure ou professeur spécialisé dans les matériaux ou les technologies pour la transition énergétique au sein de son unité mixte de recherche (UMR) avec l'Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières (UQTR).
Le poste s'insère la thématique de l'UMR et vise à répondre aux attentes sociétales et scientifiques en matière de lutte aux changements climatiques via la décarbonisation de l'économie, avec pour centre d'intérêt les batteries, l'hydrogène, le recyclage des minéraux critiques et stratégiques ou encore le captage et la valorisation du CO2.
La personne candidate retenue sera rattachée à l'assemblée des professeurs du Centre Eau Terre Environnement et travaillera directement à l'UQTR au sein de l'UMR qui regroupe d'autres membres du corps professoral rattachés au Centre Énergie Matériaux Télécommunications de l'INRS et du Département de chimie, biochimie et physique de l'UQTR.
La personne recrutée prendra part à un environnement interdisciplinaire stimulé par la recherche au sein de la Zone d'Innovation de la Vallée de la Transition Énergétique.
La personne recrutée contribuera au programme scientifique de cette nouvelle UMR, tout en alimentant le programme scientifique du centre ETE dans l'axe des technologies environnementales.
Le programme de recherche vise à explorer les domaines émergents de la transition énergétique en se concentrant sur plusieurs axes clés, notamment les batteries et l'hydrogène vert, les matériaux innovants pour les électrodes et les électrolytes, l'économie circulaire et le recyclage des déchets liés à la transition énergétique, les technologies de production et d'utilisation de l'hydrogène vert, ainsi que les procédés de captage et de valorisation du CO2.
Ces recherches combinent des approches physiques, chimiques et biologiques pour la synthèse et la caractérisation des matériaux, tout en s'appuyant sur des simulations numériques pour accélérer le processus de découverte et modéliser les systèmes énergétiques.
La personne recrutée pourra utiliser les infrastructures existantes au sein de l'UMR ou à l'INRS, incluant les équipements disponibles au Laboratoire de Technologies environnementales, et à long terme pourra utiliser les infrastructures en développement au sein de la zone d'innovation ou monter son propre laboratoire.
Exigences normales et habiletés particulières
Être titulaire d'un doctorat dans une discipline pertinente;
Posséder une excellente productivité scientifique démontrant autonomie et originalité;
Démontrer un fort potentiel à obtenir le financement nécessaire aux activités de recherche;
Posséder des aptitudes pour l'enseignement et la formation académique des étudiantes et étudiants de 2e et de 3e cycle;
Posséder des aptitudes pour le travail d'équipe au sein de réseaux multidisciplinaires avec une capacité d'adaptation élevée;
Une expérience, un intérêt et des aptitudes de développement partenarial industriel, communautaire et/ou gouvernemental;
Une expérience, voire une expertise en analyse de cycle de vie serait un atout.
