LE POSTE
Vous incarnerez le cœur de notre mission éducative grâce à votre approche bienveillante et votre collaboration avec l'équipe multidisciplinaire en étant le moteur d'application de diverses méthodes d'éducation spécialisée orientées vers le soutien adapté à chaque jeune afin d'assurer leur épanouissement et leur réussite, quel que soit leur parcours et leurs besoins.
LES RESPONSABILITÉS
Travailler en synergie avec l'équipe pédagogique, les familles et ressources externes pour apporter un soutien ciblé aux élèves à besoins spécifiques.
Innover dans les méthodes d'accompagnement et concevoir des stratégies d'apprentissage sur mesure.
Contribuer activement, en collaboration avec l'équipe multidisciplinaire, à la création, l'élaboration et l'application de plans d'intervention personnalisés.
Suivre l'évolution des élèves et encourager un environnement ouvert et stimulant, propices aux apprentissages.
Développer, organiser et animer des activités diversifiées pour renforcer des compétences variées chez les élèves.
Fournir un accompagnement académique direct, notamment dans les compétences de base, ainsi que dans la réalisation des leçons et devoirs.
Adopter une approche proactive pour accompagner les élèves dans leur adaptation et gestion comportementale, utilisant des techniques de communication optimales et adaptées.
Informer sur les enjeux sociaux et orienter vers des ressources spécialisées les jeunes et leur famille, au besoin.
Gérer l'encadrement des élèves nécessitant un suivi spécifique après des sanctions et organiser leur réintégration scolaire.
Assurer la sécurité et le soutien des élèves nécessitant une attention particulière lors du transport scolaire, si nécessaire.
Documenter rigoureusement les observations et les interventions, maintenir à jour les dossiers des élèves, et préparer des rapports détaillés.
Gérer l'administration de médicaments selon les directives médicales et scolaires, et intervenir en premier secours, si nécessaire.
Guider et former les nouveaux membres de l'équipe et superviser les tâches du personnel de soutien liées aux opérations techniques.
Réaliser toute tâche additionnelle adaptée aux besoins émergents.
Détenir un diplôme d'études collégiales en techniques d'éducation spécialisée ou d'un diplôme/certificat avec équivalence reconnue.
Excellente connaissance de l'anglais, écrit et oral.
La connaissance du français serait un atout.
Posséder de l'expérience auprès d'élèves ayant des troubles de comportement et des difficultés académiques.
Certificat de premiers soin valide.
