Sous la supervision du directeur d'usine, le ou la candidat.e aura à planifier, diriger et contrôler les activités de mécanique de l'usine et devra respecter les règlements en vigueur tout en respectant les normes de santé et de sécurité.
Plus précisément, il aura à :
Assurer l'exécution des travaux d'entretien selon leur priorité;
Faire le suivi des travaux effectués et intervenir au besoin auprès des différents mécaniciens;
Faire l'ajustement ou modifier les équipements au besoin;
Prendre en note les recommandations des employés en prévision des améliorations à apporter;
Identifier des méthodes de travail afin d'optimiser le travail de son équipe et sa productivité, pour assurer des travaux de qualité et sécuritaires;
Diriger les travaux de maintenance préventive en marche et en arrêt, ainsi que toutes les routes additionnelles (ex: lubrification, extincteur);
Effectuer des suivis quotidiens sur la formation de l'équipe;
Participer au besoin aux différents comités;
Assurer l'application des politiques et des règlements de l'entreprise auprès de son équipe (ponctualité, appréciation, discipline, etc.);
Compléter les rapports demandés par le planificateur;
Connaître et appliquer les mesures en santé et sécurité et donner l'exemple;
Observer et appliquer les politiques et règlement de cadenassage en vigueur;
Se conformer aux directives reçues de la direction de l'entreprise;
Toutes autres tâches connexes.
Connaissances du fonctionnement d'une scierie et des principes de sciage, connaissances en mécanique, connaissances des principes en santé et sécurité, leadership, aptitudes pour le travail d'équipe, autonomie et polyvalence, habile en informatique, capable de prendre des initiatives, avoir un bon jugement, avoir un bon esprit critique et d'analyse, aimer travailler sous pression. Connaître le système de gestion de l'inventaire et d'approvisionnement Interal (un atout)
