NATURE DU TRAVAIL
Le rôle principal et habituel de la personne salariée de cette classe d'emplois consiste à effectuer des travaux de vérification, de réparation, d'entretien, de modification et d'installation dans les domaines de la plomberie, du chauffage, des brûleurs à l'huile, des gicleurs automatiques et de la réfrigération.
ATTRIBUTIONS CARACTÉRISTIQUES
La personne salariée de cette classe d'emplois répare ou remplace la tuyauterie et installe les accessoires neufs qui entrent dans la modernisation des systèmes de plomberie; elle relie les canalisations domestiques d'air, d'eau, d'égout et de gaz aux réseaux d'alimentation et de renvoi; elle débouche les éviers, les bassins, les douches, les urinoirs et les cabinets; elle assure le bon entretien de la tuyauterie, des robinets, des valves et des autres accessoires; elle procède à la mise en opération et à la fermeture des systèmes de plomberie dans les endroits ouverts au public durant certaines saisons; elle perce ou fait percer des ouvertures pour les tuyaux dans les murs ou les planchers; elle cintre, coupe, alèse et fait le filetage des tuyaux, les installe et les raccorde; elle procède à diverses épreuves en vue de déterminer l'étanchéité du système.
Elle installe, remplace, répare et raccorde des canalisations d'appareils de chauffage à vapeur, à eau chaude ou au gaz; elle monte et installe des appareils de chauffage à eau chaude; elle nettoie ou fait nettoyer les canalisations à l'intérieur des chaudières et effectue tous autres travaux que requiert l'entretien régulier des installations.
Elle monte et installe des appareils de réfrigération, d'éclairage et de cuisson au gaz de pétrole liquéfié et effectue tout travail que requiert l'entretien des installations.
Elle est parfois appelée à coordonner des travaux effectués par des ouvrières ou ouvriers moins expérimentés ou non spécialisés.
Au besoin, elle accomplit toute autre tâche connexe.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUISES
Posséder les qualifications légales appropriées à la classe d'emplois.
Posséder la carte de compagnon en plomberie.
AUTRES EXIGENCES
Avoir réussi une épreuve mesurant la qualité du français.
Un permis de conduire valide est requis.
HORAIRE
Du lundi au vendredi de 7 h 30 à 12 h et de 12 h 30 à 15 h 45
L'horaire peut être variable et débuter à 7 h ou 7 h 30 selon la saison.
SALAIRE
26,57 $ plus prime d'attraction et de rétention de 10 %.
