Job Overview.
We're seeking an excellent individual to join our client development team focused on enhancing products for global customers in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry. You'll drive productivity and outcomes throughout the construction lifecycle, supporting some of the world's most challenging projects. This remote position is based in Canada ( British Columbia ).
Responsibilities
Contribute to software design and architecture, leveraging cloud design patterns to enhance the development lifecycle.
Engage in all aspects of software development to deliver reliable, secure, performant, and high-throughput services using cloud technologies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software architects, UX designers, product managers, and engineers to translate requirements into product enhancements.
Provide technical guidance to team members and project peers.
Foster a culture of metrics-based analysis and decision-making.
Participate in an on-call rotation to support production services.
Ensure optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications by identifying and resolving bottlenecks and bugs.
Write and maintain code with meticulous attention to detail, conduct peer code reviews, and lead technical design discussions.
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of software development experience with front-end development languages such as TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
Master's/Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
Proficiency in building web applications using modern JavaScript libraries such as ReactJS, including end-to-end testing.
Experience in product and user interface design collaboration with designers.
Demonstrated knowledge of software design patterns, data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
Ability to develop reusable, composable, and extensible software.
Experience with cloud service providers and their offerings (e.g., AWS).
