Total Oilfield Rentals (TOR) offers rental and transportation of drilling, completion and production equipment to the oil and natural gas industry throughout Western Canada and the Northwestern United States. Position Summary
Total Oilfield Rentals is currently looking for a Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team. Reporting to the Fleet Manager, the Heavy Equipment Technician will be responsible for responsible for working independently and as part of a larger crew to mobilize, demobilize, and service oilfield rental equipment
This position is fulltime and is based out of our Leduc & Whitecourt locations.
Summary of Duties (Duties may include, but are not limited to the following):
Conduct regular preventative maintenance tasks and inspections;
Responsible for using proper tools and techniques to complete the job safely;
Maintain shop tools and work area;
Minimum 2nd Year Apprentice or Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician Alberta Apprenticeship Board Certification
Heavy Truck & trailer experience
CVIP license preferred
Experience working on Oilfield trucks
A friendly, outgoing personality and ability to work with individuals, groups and other organizations to fit in with our great working atmosphere
Working Conditions
