About the Role

The Director of Operations is a senior position responsible for overseeing the operational functions of our non-profit. You will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our services and administration, while supporting our long-term strategic initiatives. You will also oversee the fractional management of external service providers in areas such as legal, financial services, HR, IT, board services, and travel & events. You will be responsible for building internal capacity for these functions with the goal of transitioning to a fully-internal delivery of administrative and financial services within two to three years.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and optimize diversified organizational functions including HR, Finance, Events, IT, Legal, and Board Administration.
  2. Stakeholder and Partners Management:
Build and maintain effective relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders and partners, including government bodies, community groups, and funders.

Minimum of 5 years in senior management roles with similar organizations, demonstrating deep experience in administering HR, Finance, Events, IT, Legal, and Board Administration teams. At least 10 years of relevant career experience in an operations capacity, with a strong focus on financial management.
