JOB PURPOSE:

As a member of the Canadian Finance team, you will partner with Commercial and Finance colleagues to optimize and document Canadian business processes.

A key area of focus will be product costing governance and inventory reporting, where you will navigate a complex shared service environment to ensure timely and accurate product costing is available.

You will provide local governance and expertise over outsourced procure to pay activities, will coordinate formulary and Stats Canada reporting activities, and have responsibility for internal management reporting activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Business and Finance Leadership

• Optimize financial processes across Commercial functions drive efficiencies
• Ensuring product costing information is accurate and any required changes are updated in a timely manner.
  You will navigate Haleon's complex shared service model to coordinate the required analysis and corrective actions.
• Internal controls and SOX compliance, including the preparation and maintenance of documentation and completing required audit procedures.
• Drive financial reporting (e.g Canadian internal business) through partnering with cross-functional colleagues for content.
• Ad hoc projects

Governance Responsibilities

• Responsible for select supply chain accounting and reporting activities for inventory reserves and days on hand inventory analysis.
• Maintains and updates formulary pricing schedule with provincial government.
• Provide over-sight, including quarterly KPI analysis, issue escalation and resolution, for our shared service partners who manage Canada's Procure to Pay (P2P) and T&E processes.
  
• Finance support for sustainability accounting, including blue box filing requirements.
• Coordinate (manage and complete) all relevant governmental survey requests.

Complexity:

• Communicate effectively across several levels in the Consumer organization including Canadian leadership team, US Finance team, Site finance, Controllers, Corporate, etc
• This position must be able to operate effectively in a matrix organization.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

• University Degree
• Professional Accounting designation
• High level of business maturity and professionalism.
  Ability to work with multiple levels within the organization effectively and across multiple functions (e.g.
  Finance, Sales, Supply Chain, Administration)
• Role requires a professional self-starter with strong organizational and trouble shooting skills
• Ability to work independently and proactively.
• 3 - 5 years Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry experience
• 3 - 5 years experience in Finance performing advanced analysis, management reporting
• Solid understanding of finance fundamentals

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• MBA, CFA, or equivalent.
• Strong SAP Procure to Pay (P2P) incl.
  Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) purchasing knowledge preferred.
• PowerBI experience is preferred.
