Brooksource is seeking a Project Manager to lead an exciting integration effort for our client that is a leading supplier of goods and services for specialty contractors in Canada. This role will involve coordinating both physical and digital integration efforts to ensure a seamless transition. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, communication, and project management skills, with a proven track record in managing complex integration projects.

Key Responsibilities

Integration Planning:

• Develop comprehensive integration plans covering both physical and digital aspects.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.

Project Management:

• Lead and manage integration projects from initiation to completion, ensuring all objectives are met.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including IT, operations, HR, finance, and other relevant departments.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.

Communication and Reporting:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for all integration-related activities.
• Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders on project status, milestones, and issues.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between the acquiring and acquired company teams.

Digital Integration:

• Oversee the integration of IT systems, software applications, and data migration.
• Ensure compatibility and alignment of digital infrastructures between both companies.
• Work closely with IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve any technical challenges.

Physical Integration:

• Manage the physical consolidation of facilities, including office spaces and equipment.
• Coordinate logistics for the relocation or merging of physical assets.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during the physical integration process.

Change Management:

• Develop and implement change management strategies to facilitate smooth transitions.
• Support and guide employees through the integration process, addressing concerns and fostering a positive work environment.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops as needed to ensure successful adoption of new processes and systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field. A master's degree or PMP certification is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on integration projects.
• Strong understanding of IT systems and digital transformation processes.
• Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Experience in managing cross-functional teams and working with senior executives.
• Familiarity with change management principles and practices.
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
