Account Manager - Inside Sales

Bunzl is seeking an enthusiastic and energetic sales professional who can excel in a constantly changing and evolving sales environment. This is a perfect position for someone who knows how to manage both simple and complex sales. The role is clear: Build and execute a plan supported by strategy to grow your sales and margin to achieve your sales budget within your territory.
Responsibilities

  • Identify key contacts and building relationships within your key accounts
  • Utilize digital tools to communicate with customers during the pandemic
  • Heatmapping your accounts for products gaps, and utilizing internal systems to manage product suggestions based on inventory availability and stock positions.
  • Identify, qualifying and acquiring new customers that fit our strategy
  • Introducing and selling product innovation and our private label to current customers, with the ability to create system driven quotes, maintain margin sheets via excel/Microsoft and multi-task day to day customer requests accurately and efficiently.
  • Identify and selling product category gaps to current customers who purchase elsewhere
  • Replace competitive products of non-preferred vendors with preferred vendor products
  • Upsell current customers to new or replacement products available
  • Collaborate with purchasing department and share out customer forecasted commitments regularly to help manage inventory
  • Introduce and implementing new services and digital tools to make it easy for our customers to find information, make it easy for them to buy and help accelerate our customers business
Requirements
  • A college or university degree or diploma
  • Effectively deliver both verbal and written communication unscripted
  • An aptitude for organization
  • Strong selling skills, with the ability to prepare presentations for in person and virtual platforms to professionally manage objections on the spot to close the sale
  • Previous experience with CRM, Funnel Management, Sales Execution, Trilogix and AS400
  • Experienced with Outlook and the full suite of Microsoft products including Teams and Webex
  • 100% Office although home office and remote work may be required
