The provision of counselling services that proactively and reactively respond to student's socio-emotional needs The three-fold focus of the role on parent, teacher, and student engagement The creative nature of the role (developing content for school-wide student body, as well as parent engagement and teacher initiatives such as pro-D) RCA culture fit/follower of Christ Qualifications Masters Degree (in Counselling or Social Work) Registered with the BCACC or CCPA Prior experience with youth and/or families preferred Characteristics of the successful applicant include:

Upon Hire of Best Candidate Regent Christian Academy is a BC Ministry-certified Independent Christian school located in Surrey BC (30 km south of Vancouver).
RCA has been in operation since 1978 and is well-established in the community.
RCA shares a beautiful 39-acre campus with Pacific Life Bible College and Horizon Church.
RCA currently enrolls 720 students on its main campus.
In addition to the standard K-12 program, RCA serves over 50 International students.
RCA also serves 1500 distance education and home-schooled students through our Ministry-certified Distributed Learning program.
We have 50 teachers at the main campus (92 staff members).
We are proud of our competitive performing arts and athletics programs, and well-developed academic stream.
